Continuous publication within each volume: accepted articles appear online with their DOI as soon as they are ready, then collate into the dated issue below.
Four sections, one discipline
Primary Care & Family Medicine
Chronic-disease management models, access and triage innovation, community outreach, clinically useful updates.
Preventive Health
Screening, immunisation, cardiometabolic and lifestyle prevention, health literacy, population-health initiatives.
Quality Improvement & Clinical Audit
SQUIRE 2.0-compliant QI reports and criteria-based audits with full PDSA cycles, baseline and re-audit data. Our flagship section.
Medical Education & Training
Education research, transition-to-residency studies (UKMLA/PLAB, USMLE, NExT), elective and observership reports, student collaboratives.
Our indexing roadmap
Indexing is earned over time against eligibility rules. We publish our real position and update this the day it changes.
We will never describe GJPC as “PubMed-indexed”, “DOAJ-listed” or anything else before it is true. Indexing status is updated on this page the day it changes — hold us to that.
Call for Papers — Volume 1 (2026)
