Managing Editor

Screening, completeness and plagiarism checks, reviewer coordination, production — the engine room of the 42-day decision target.

Student & Trainee Editors

Defined editorial roles for outstanding students and trainees — including a nominated GIMSOC seat — with training and supervision.

Founding Editorial Board — call for nominations now open. Target: 15–20 members across at least eight countries, blending senior primary-care academics, QI methodologists, medical librarians/information specialists and early-career editors. Membership carries real duties: a minimum of two reviews or one editorial task per year, and an annual interest declaration. Full listing with photographs, affiliations and ORCID iDs published at launch.

Transparency statement. The Global Journal of Primary Care, Preventive Health and Quality Improvement is owned and published by MD Acumen Ltd, a company registered in England (no. 16538952). The Editor-in-Chief holds an ownership interest in the publisher; this interest is declared on all policy pages, and all manuscripts involving the Editor-in-Chief’s institutions, students or collaborators are handled independently by a Deputy Editor-in-Chief. The journal operates in accordance with COPE guidance and the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing.
