A credible, mentored, free route to citable publication
Every year, thousands of medical students, international medical graduates and early-career clinicians complete rigorous audits and quality-improvement projects that are never published. GJPC exists to close that gap.
Built on discipline, not volume
Prestige QI journals price early-career authors out; fast mega-journals teach them nothing; institutional repositories give no DOI and no recognition. GJPC offers a credible, mentored, free route to citable publication — built on SQUIRE 2.0 discipline.
Credibility begins with disclosure
Ownership, declared
GJPC is published by MD Acumen Ltd (England, no. 16538952). The Editor-in-Chief, Prof Rajesh Varma, holds an ownership interest in the publisher. We state this everywhere because credibility begins with disclosure.
Editorial independence
Editorial decisions rest solely with the editorial team. Any manuscript involving the Editor-in-Chief’s institutions, students or collaborators is handled end-to-end by a Deputy Editor-in-Chief. No fee, partner or sponsor can influence acceptance.
Measured integrity
We publish our acceptance rate, median decision times and editor-authored share annually, and cap editor/board-authored content below 25% of output. Ethics cases follow COPE flowcharts.
